We Love God.

Out of love for God, We are committed to daily encounters with the Lord through His Word. This is how we stay connected to the heart and mind of Christ. True discipleship is found in this place. Our love for God develops our character, our calling, and our closeness with Him. We cannot effectively disciple others in this, if we ourselves are not living it.

We love God by:

  • Staying in His Word daily, and being obedient to what it says

  • Putting God first in every decision we make

  • Honoring the tithe

(John 14:21, John 14:23-24, Matthew 6:23, Malachi 3:10-11)

We Love People

We are motivated to serve and lead others out of a love for them - not out of a desire to be seen as a leader. Our love for them comes from the Lord through intercession, and we desire to be as passionate about them as He is.

We love people by:

  • Walking in forgiveness, and remaining free from offense

  • Refusing to partake in gossip

  • Speaking the truth in love

  • Looking for opportunities to deny ourselves and serve others.

(Mark 11:25, Ephesians 4:29, Ephesians 4:31-32, Romans 15:1-2, Ephesians 4:29, Psalm 15:1-3)

We Pursue
Excellence

Everything that we do, we do it for the Lord - and so we do it out of honor. He is worthy of our time and energy, and so we are committed to serving Him in excellence. It isn’t an attitude of perfectionism, but of love! We do the best we have with what He has given us, because we want to go above and beyond for the one who went above and beyond for us.

We pursue excellence by:

  •  Committing to pray over the things we do for Him so that we can serve in a way that is pleasing to Him.

  • Honoring our commitments and being on time

  • Leaving places and people better than how we found them.

(Colossians 3:17, Colossians 3:23-24, Ephesians 5:15-16)

We Choose Joy

We are committed to maintaining a joyful attitude in all that we do. We have the ability to change the atmosphere of any room we walk in for better or worse, and so we choose to spread the joy that Jesus has given us - even on the days when doing so seems difficult.

We choose joy by:

  • Keeping a positive attitude in every circumstance

  • Being intentional about making others feel welcome and at ease around us

  • Being loyal to others in every circumstance

(Romans 8:31-33, Romans 8:37, Philippians 4:4-5, Philippians 4:13, Philippians 4:4-5, Ephesians 5:19-21)
